Jesmond Dene House is an independent luxury hotel situated 15 minutes from Newcastle’s city centre. The grade II listed building offers guests a grand setting with boutique rooms and two AA Rosette dining. Jesmond Dene House tasked Bumbl with finding new ways of increasing transactions via its online booking engine, to improve market share.

The Challenge

With online travel agents dominating search engines and driving up paid media costs in the travel sector, Jesmond Dene House would need to find creative solutions for reaching its target audience and generating bookings cost efficiently.

The Solution

After a rigorous touchpoint analysis, we created a digital strategy that used paid media to take target audiences from initial brand awareness through to conversion. With a focus on long-tail and low-competition keywords for paid search, laser-targeted paid social ads, and a detailed monthly analysis of user behaviour, we were able to make incremental improvements to performance.
